128 BAXTER ST, NYC - On Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, PES FUTURES opens the doors to On Demand, a guest-curated exhibition by Feminist Incubator Alumn Caroline Sinders, bringing together the works of artists from across the US to present a multivalent and layered look at some of the externalities of the Dobbs decision.

2024 NEWARK ARTIST ACCELERATOR
The Newark Artist Accelerator (NAA) is a project grant for Newark-based, multidisciplinary visual artists. Projects are artist-led and include collaborative ventures, pop-up exhibitions, events, and interventions of an ephemeral nature that are radically accessible to the public. The NAA supports artists in engaging with their communities and enhancing public art experiences. Applications are open now.

2024 - 2026 ARTIST IN RESIDENCE ANNOUNCED!
PES is pleased to announce the 9th cohort of Artists In Residence: Heather Hart, Lina Puerta, Jake Troyli, and Noelle Lorraine Williams. This annual initiative invites four visual artists to Newark, NJ, to create works focused on social impact. The program aims to create a symbiotic relationship between the artists and the audience, promoting new artistic practices and interventions.

BODY FREEDOM FOR EVERY(BODY) NATIONWIDE TOUR
BODY FREEDOM FOR EVERY(BODY) champions bodily autonomy, with a specific emphasis on intersecting themes of Reproductive Justice, Queer Liberation, and Trans Joy through contemporary art. Over 100 artists’ visions are represented in this project: the aim is to reinforce community(ies), create safe spaces, and cultivate joy.
ARTIST RESIDENCY PROGRAM
The PES Artist In Residence Program is an annual initiative that invites four visual artists to Newark, NJ, to create work around social impact. The program is intended to benefit both artists-in-residence and a larger audience and strives to be a conduit for new artistic practice and intervention.
PES STUDIO MEMBER PROGRAM
The PES Studio Member Program is a home for culture makers. It houses over 40 artist studios and shared spaces for creative professionals.
COMMUNITY BUILDING + PUBLIC ARTS
PES began as a public intervention endeavor and continues to grow in that arena. We continue to curate and organize large-scale public art programs and murals around Newark and beyond!
