FEMINIST FUTURES FELLOWSHIP: ON WOMAN HATING

Feminist FUTURES fellowship curator Alyssa Alexander’s first exhibition for PES, titled On Woman Hating, guided by an eco-feminist politic, looked at the intersections of race, gender, climate change, reproductive rights, and capitalism to negotiate a path toward centering the divine feminine in our individual and collective activism. Artists included artists Destinie Adélakun, Ania Freer, Misha Japanwala, Utē Petite, Adrienne Tarver, and V Walton.

AZIKIWE MOHAMMED: TRAINS, BUSES, AND THE FOUR C’S

A solo exhibition by 2023 - 2025 Artist in Residence Azikiwe Mohammed. In Mohammed’s work, and particularly in the body of work created for Trains, Buses, and the Four C’s, social bonds and experiences are evoked in mixed-media drawings, photographs, paintings and sculptures.
