As Assistant Educator of Family Programs at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Julie Marie Seibert fosters multigenerational learning opportunities utilizing collection, art materials and techniques at each of The Met’s three campuses. Previously, she was Manager of Public Programs at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan and Manager of Culture and Access Programs at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. Julie Marie holds a BA in Art History from New Jersey City University and a MA in Museum Education from University of the Arts. She is also working on a MFA in Painting/Drawing from New Jersey City University. She is a Jersey City resident, along with her husband and two children.
